Metal Gear Metal Gear~

It was such a long time ago that I actually played Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2. I played 3 about a year ago, and I played 4 just last summer (and still replaying it. Egad that game has so much stuff I stsill haven't discovered yet! Dx ). So it feels weird when people ask me things about 1 and 2 and I zone out, drool a bit, and am not of much help. It also doesn't help that people ask me about the newer version of Metal Gear Solid, The Twin Snakes.
Thus why I am writing this blog.
(Just so that everyone knows I have not yet played the original Metal Gear games, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Metal Gear Acid. Soon though. I'm getting my hands on a PSP very soon.)

So recently I stumbled across a torrent that had 10 gigs of all of the cutscenes, codec conversations and boss battles in Twin Snakes, 2, 3 and 4. Thinking of all the good that could come from this I jumped on the oppurtunity, and as I write this, my torrent is currently downloading and will be so for about a week or so.
I'm hoping that when I have time I will be able to rewatch the main storyline of one and two, and also get a look to see how the first game was remade for The Twin Snakes. =3
Also with these clips I plan on making a AMV (Not a lame one, I promise) that will be put to good use. I have been drafting out my plan so far and I hope that it will turn out well!

I have also heard about the new Metal Gear Solid game that is called Metal Gear Solid Touch, a game that will take place after MGS4:SOTP. It is only meant for the iTouch iPod and iPhone though, so unless I buy one with in those times or I can sway one of my friends to let me borrow their Pods or Phones I don't believe I will be playing this one. How sad.
I guess I am a bit upset by these news, but not one hundred percent dissapointed. MGS4 ended on an amazing note for the wrap up of the game, so you won't hear me complaining. Kudos to Kojima for the amazing end to an amazing game.

Well just because the series over doesn't mean that we won't be seeing more of Snake in the years to come. Good games die hard... Final Fantasy proved that. XD

Loves on to you all~

Rock Band 2: I Can't Make The Band...

So last night my daddy brought our family home a little surprise, and it came in the form of a number 2 to our familys most loved video-game! Rock Band 2!
My family is big. I have three younger sisters and one younger brother, along with my mother and father. So in a family this big, we enjoy finding something we all like to do, and it was last year we discovered Rock Band. After hooking it up to our home theatre system, ever single one of us fell in love. It was great for my parents because they founds songs on there that they knew, and the kids did as well, so it quickly became a hobby of everyone in my family. =D

My dad has been doing research on Rock Band 2, wanting to see how cool this game would be compared to the first. He was getting all excited because he saw a lot of songs he liked on the game, so I knew that he was going to go out and buy it! =D

So last night the 'rents come home and everyone freaks out by the game and it is almost instantly shoved into our ancient PS2 and was ready to be plain.
Did you read the part that I said ancient? Good.

So we start playing and because my PS2 is from when they first came out it was already dubbed a piece of shit already, it was even worse BECAUSE this game is brand new and has all these amazing graphics and gameplay that ole' grandpa playstation 2 cannot handle. So, dad gets all emo and asks me to bring my PS3 downstairs and I feel terrible when I tell him my 80 gig baby does not play PS2 games.
I swear he was ready to cry.

I find it so funny though. In our house we have these gaming systems: Two PS1's, one Ps2, one PS3, 5 DS's, four computers and a MAME arcade emulator. All of them work (some better then others). The funny thing is we have had both our Playstation 1's since they came out and they still work like brand new! But our Playstation 2, not so much. =| Weird.
My dad is either gonna buy a new Playstation 2, or buy a Rock Band 2 for the PS3. I know he is gonna buy a Playstation 2 because when I bought my PS3 he cleary stated I was being a 'tard and wasting my money on something useless. XD
It's only useless if you can't play games on it, and my dad will make it useless in his eyes until the day I die. XD

Oh, and here, something to get you all pissed.
My ten year old sister and her score on Expert. >u<
If you can't read the score it says 93%~ <3

Loves ya all and hope for a good week~ <3

Love,

First Blog Entry!

Hello! My name is Lolo! I'm a sixteen (almost seventeen) year old gamer girl! I know eh, two things wrong there, girl on the internet and girl that plays video-games! It's uncalled for! I know! But trust me, I have boobs and a vagina and I play video-games.
So I decided I wanted to write a blog about it so I can remember my memories. Complain about shitty games, wow over good games, freak over expensive games, be happy with bargains I received, rant about the good ole' classics, be excited over the games that are coming soon and tell me opinions on games I have played recently. >u<

So... I guess I will introduce myself, yes? =D
As said, I am Lolo. It has been my nickname in the real world and online for years now, so you don't really hafta know my real name. I am sixteen as I write this, birthday being March 6. I currently have black hair and green eyes. I'm boring. Seriously. I may be very talkative but I am boring. Anyway. Picture of me below.
BAM!

Keyblade behind my head... Parasite Eve: The Third Birthday wallscroll to the right. Floaty thing is a Meer Campbell Sticker that is on my wall! XD
Anyway. Video game status, yes?

First Video Game: Spyro The Dragon
First M Rated Game: Metal Gear Solid
First DS Game: Lunar Dragon Song
First Playstation 2 Game: Kingdom Hearts
First X-Box Game: Fable
First Wii Game: Super Smash Bros Brawl
First Arcade Game: Bubble Bobble
Fave Arcade Game: Daisu Kiss

Least Fave Game Platform: X-Box (Sorry. Yuck. D<)

So that would be my gaming history in a short little bit.
Anyway, I'll try and update the blog weekly or something. Maybe if enough people read it I will Make a set date or something, but for now I'll keep it at something like 'when ever I feel the need to write about games'.

Haha! Catch ya all on the flippers side! Kay kay!
